YOUTH WORKER - CASUAL
The Youth Worker provides care and supervision for the youth living at the Residential Resource Centre, and
provides intensive in-home support and supportive counselling to children, youth and their families.Qualifications
Community College Child Care Worker Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in the human services field. Previous experience working with youth is an asset.
Successful candidates must have ability to form working relationships with youth and exercise leadership with youth in a residential setting, to provide supportive counselling to individuals, families and groups, sound verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively with a team
Applicants must have a valid driver’s licence, the use of a vehicle for work, familiarity with personal computers and knowledge of Word or WordPerfect.
